My thoughts: This book was an interesting read. I like how Eric takes some of the most common stories of the Bible and shows how they have been translated wrong in our day and age, and how their correct reading is more applicable to us today. I found the book insightful as it pointed out why we shouldn't have a lack of faith like Gideon with putting out the fleece or the warning to check where our heart is, as Cain should of done. This book is a thought provoking one.

My thoughts: Most little girls are all about princesses when they are little. This sweet chapter book brings to life the lives of different women in the scriptures and focuses on their strengths. I love that each chapter focuses on a strength that the woman had, like being prayerful like Hannah, or brave like Queen Esther. The illustrations are lovely! My thoughts: I thought that Sonya did a wonderful job bringing to life the story of Moses, Pharaoh, and the Hebrew people. The story is well researched and shows the story from different view points, some different than I have thought about. She did an excellent job bringing the Old Testament to life! I know a lot of research and thought went into the story and I appreciated that it made me look at a story I take for granted in a whole new light.

My thoughts: I found this to be a wonderful, easy to get through, non fiction book that shows how pertinent the life of Daniel is today. We are all called to flourish in the environment that God has placed us in, and this books helps to equip people to do just that. This book came along at a good time for me, since we are going through some of Daniel in my Scripture study, so this harmonized well with what we have been discussing in the class.
I very much appreciated the author's candor and humor. This is an excellent book for a personal or church library.

This adorable book will help get your young child interested in Bible stories, with its adorable illustrations and fun CD of Bible stories and songs. We are enjoying this one! If you are wanting to get your children excited about the Bible, then this book is a must!
