My thoughts: I fell in love with the characters in the first book, All That Really Matters, so I was thrilled to return to the story line, this time with Val and Miles starring as the main characters. I loved getting to know them better as they tried to figure out where the Lord is leading them. Miles with his feelings of failures in regards to how his church has handled the ministries that he has overseen and the demotion that he is currently facing and Val with her new job with Molly and the chance at a film mentorship.
I loved the deeper messages of this book! I could relate to Val as she struggled to really open up about some of her past mistakes, since I have had some similar experiences recently with feeling God calling me to put some of my brokenness out there for His glory. I could also relate to Miles as he tried to figure out how his goals and vision for his life were put the test. This is a wonderful story to pick up and enjoy, I know it's one of my new favorites!
