What a fun book! Geordia Pellegrini's latest book is chocked full of recipes, projects, and help for skills needed to be self sufficient. I love a lot of her ideas, since they are versatile. You can use them if you are interested in living off the grid or if you want to get into doing your own preserving. There are canning recipes, baking ideas, help for learning to cure meats, survival tips, basically this book is like the best of pinterest rolled into an easy to reference book. I am excited to use it! I think the ideas I am most excited to try out are the pickling recipes (pickled chard? Yes please!) and cheese recipes.
