My thoughts: I love to make bread and bake, but I haven't done a whole lot of baking with natural yeast. So, when I saw this cookbook, I thought it would be fun to give it a go!
While I love making bread, my family seems to go through seasons where we don't eat a whole lot of it, which is probably why I haven't tried to get a natural yeast started going, with it being a bit of a commitment. After receiving this book though, I think it will be fun to get a starter going and begin making breads, cakes, crackers, and breakfast foods. I love that this book has a variety! And, it does a wonderful job of breaking things down, so one understands the science behind natural yeast. The photos are eye catching and helpful, the recipes diverse, and the topic fun. I highly recommend this cookbook!
