Top ten books on my Spring TBR list

Click on the image to go to Amazon to find out more about the books (if any) that interest you.

1. Sons of Blackbird Mountain

I actually had this on my wishlist, and then I noticed that Netgalley is offering it. I just found out I was approved! So excited to read this one.

2. Storm Front

While I enjoy Susan May's stories, I've found myself losing some interest in this series. That said, the ongoing story will probably make me pick this one up.;)

3. The Theory of Happily Ever After

I can't say I know a lot about this book, other than that it looks and sounds cute.;) I know, super shallow here. lol.

4. The Wounded Shadow

I'm super excited about this book, since I have been reading the series as it comes out. I hope to finally get some answers! (if you enjoy fantasy, Carr's books are excellent!)

5.True to You

I should of read this one soon, since it's been on my Kindle for a while.

6. Falling for You

Becky's books are always delightful.

7. Unbreakable

Another fantasy series, this one I am looking forward to finding out how the conclusion comes about.

8. With Love, Mom

Even though I have one of each, I still like books about the relationship I have with each of them individually.

9. Blind Betrayal

I always love how Nancy's stories are more than just a mystery, since they leaven me thinking long after I finish them.

10. Becoming Mom Strong

We will be doing this one in our women's group, so I am looking forward to it!

What books are on your list this week? I think the seasonal TBR lists are always the easiest for me to come up with, though I could of added a bunch more to this list!

Take ten: books that have been on my TBR list the longest that I still have yet to read

I don't know that these have been on my TBR list the longest, but they have been on there for quite a while now!

1. The Book Thief

I really need to read this one, since I have held off seeing the movie until I read it.

2. Code Name Verity

Not only has this one been in my TBR pile, but I also borrowed it from my aunt, so I really should read it and give it back.

3. The Question of God

I keep meaning to make time for this one!

4. Kisses from Katie

Another one that I borrowed. Or, rather, it was lent to me. I need to say no when people offer to lend me books, since then I have them forever....

5. Blue Moon Bay

I've enjoyed all the books I have read by Lisa (she does a wonderful job of bringing social issues into her stories), but have yet to make the time for most of her earlier stories.

6. Lady of Milkweed Manor

Another author I almost always enjoy is Julie Klassen. I've been told that I am missing out by not reading her first few books!

7. The Apothecary's Daughter

This is one I even have on my kindle.

8. Among the Mad

I enjoyed the first 4-5 Maisie Dobbs books, but haven't kept up on them. I didn't even realize there were 14 now!

9. Ballet Shoes

I meant to read this when I was younger. I'm hopeful that it will be one I read aloud to the kids.

10.The Giver

Not only did I miss this book when I was younger, but I missed that there was more than just The Giver! I did give in and watch the movie, but now I need to read the series.

Whew, this makes me want to pull these books out and actually get them off my TBR pile! How about you? What books have you been meaning to read forever ago?

Top ten books on my Winter TBR list

This post contains affiliate links.

1. The Ladies of Ivy Cottage

I adored the first book in the series, and look forward to reading this one (even though I will have to wait a whole year for the final book!) soon. I may be holding off just a bit to savor it.

2. Until We Find Home

Cathy's books can be a bit hit and miss with me, but I look forward to picking up this one, since it looks like one I will enjoy!

3. Willowkeep

I've really enjoyed Julie's other books, so I look forward to reading this Regency based story.

4. The Empowered

This one looks like an interesting, suspenseful story, set in New Orleans and dealing with a kidnapping, cult, and trafficking.

5. My New Crush Gave to Me

This one looks like it could be a cute, YA story to read, with the holidays coming up!

6. No One Even Asked

I love Katie's other books, so I look forward to this one. It deals with a struggling school, politics, and what happens when two very different worlds collide.

7. As You Wish

This one looks like it has a lot of potential, since it is about a small town where people are granted one wish.

8. P.S. I Like You

I love the premise of this book: awkward teen gets a chance to really get to know someone when she starts receiving notes from a fellow music lover. This book just screams adorable to me!

9. The Distance Between Us

Another Kasie West, since I enjoyed Lucky in Love so much and hope to have time for her other books this Winter.

10. The Weight of Lies

This one is different from my normal fare, but I have heard a lot about it, which has made me want to pick it up!
What is on your Winter TBR list? Are there books I should add to my list?

How did you do with your Autumn TBR list? I feel pretty good about mine, since I have read 8 out of the 10, thus far! I just have to complete What Hope Remembers and The Dishonorable Miss DeLancey

2. Lady Jayne Disappears

I'm hoping this one will arrive in my mail box soon.;)

3. A Dangerous Legacy

It's been a while since I last picked up one of Elizabeth's books, so I am hoping to make time for this one.

Another book that has been out for a while, but one I hope to read soon!

I hope this one will be in the mail soon as well!

Take ten: most recent books added to my TBR list

This week over at The Broke and Bookish, the subject for the week is the top ten books recently added to one's to be read list.

1. Flames

When I mentioned one of Ginny's other books last week, I realized that she has a few new releases that I need to read.

2. Home

This one looks excellent, about an author escaping a deadline.

3. An Unlikely Suitor

I've enjoyed the books that I have read by Nancy, so I added this to my list recently when I realized it was one of her newer releases.

4. Wild Heart Summer

I'm behind on some of my favorite authors!

5. The One True Love of Alice-Ann

A WWII era story that looks excellent!

6. Catching Heat

Really, my sister tells me that I need to read this whole series, so I added it to my list.

7. The Returning

I thought the second book had more going for it than the first, so I hope that this one will continue the trend and be the best yet! I like the idea that 20 years have passed.

8. A Name Unknown

I look forward to this one! It will have some mystery and suspense, which should be delightful.

9. Rescue Me

The characters in this book were introduced in Montana Skies, so I look forward to seeing how their story plays out!

10. Spindle

This one looks like a fun retelling of a favorite fairy tale. Has anyone else read it?

So, that is my list for the week. What is on yours? What should I add to mine?
