My thoughts: While I haven't read the first two books in this series, I felt like it didn't hamper my enjoyment of Ford's story! It would of been nice to have the background that the other two stories would of provided, since the stories do intertwin, but one can still enjoy this book when read as a standalone. I liked the different setting, that of Russia and going on a covert mission to rescue his twin sister, who just happens to have a big target painted on her. I love that Susan has more than one story going on with this book, since the reader gets to see things from RJ's standpoint too. This is an excellent, fast paced story that you won't want to miss!
There are some trigger points in the story, since Scarlett has a hard time trusting due to abuse at the hands of her mom's boyfriends growing up.
