The Christmas Dress by Joanna Barker
Seamstress Nell Addington is thrilled when her childhood friend Jacob Hammond commissions a dress for his sister. But when Nell realizes her feelings for Jacob run far deeper than friendship, an unexpected snowstorm—and some holiday cheer—may convince them both that love is worth fighting for.

My thoughts: This book is such a fun collection of Regency era novellas! I love the variety that they present, from a mother trying to make amends with her son and his family and finding love along the way, to a delightfully unconventional heroine who takes matters into her own hands when she cooks up a scheme to get out of attending the Season. All of the stories were delightful, and I enjoyed each of the characters! I have to admit to a particular fondness for Elizabeth and her unconventional beau. Each of the stories were lovely, but they stole the show for me!
This is a get set of stories to pick up for the holidays (though it could be read any time of the year)!
