Entangled Review
Mystery and desperation collide in Entangled, a compilation of novellas that twist, turn, and terrify, penned by four popular suspense authors: Traci Hunter Abramson, Clair M. Poulson, Gregg Luke, and Stephanie Black.
A woman on the run from a man who is always one step ahead
A mother who will stop at nothing to find her missing daughter
A wife determined to discover the source of the illness attacking her husband
A newlywed caught in a web of murder, unsure of whom to trust
Featuring a chilling cast of villains, these stories tell the tale of strong heroines forced to make perilous snap decisions in their quest to outwit evil. With an abundance of intrigue and danger, each masterful mystery is sure to leave you breathless.
My thoughts: This is such a suspenseful collection of novellas! I like how each author has written a edge of your seats mystery that will keep you up late reading, something that is not easy to do with a novella, since they are short. Bridge of Trust involves the reader from the get go, when Ethan stumbles into helping a mother find her son when her dangerous ex-husband kidnaps him. I think this one was the hardest one for me to put down, since it was so fast pace!
Corrupted seems like a straight forward mystery, until girls start getting kidnapped. It's a parents worst nightmare as they rush against the clock to find the daughters who have disappeared. I love that the story is told from different points, so the reader knows what is going on, but not who is behind the kidnappings.
Insidious is about a couple trying to figure out what is wrong with the husband. This one is hard to read, since it's something that could easily happen to anyone! I love how Taryn doesn't give up when it comes to finding answers for her husband.
Something Beautiful for Something Evil is a nail bitter! You know that something bad is going to happen and that Kate is too trusting, so you keep reading to find out what is going to happen to her!
Each of these stories are excellent. I highly recommend this collection!
