Tender prime rib, decadent cakes, and caramel popcorn that will have you licking the bowl-these holiday recipes are perfect for parties, neighbor gifts, and family gatherings. Jeni Scott has been featured by Woman’s Day, KSL Studio 5, and all over the Internet for her mouthwatering and easy-to-make holiday meals. So forget the fruitcake-these treats are so tasty you’ll want to start all-new traditions!
My thoughts: For holiday meals, we often get stuck in a rut. Granted, there is a reason that we make certain dishes year after year, since they are family favorites that bring back good memories and are just delicious dishes. But, sometimes it is nice to make some new dishes and change things up just a bit. With Festive Feasts we are given a fun variety of new dishes to try out at our holiday meals. I love the variety of holidays and dishes that this cookbook has in it! From beverages to starters, main dishes to desserts, this book is a fun way to add some new favorites to the holidays.
I also love that there are recipes for sharing/gift giving.
Some of the recipes from this book are bound to make an appearance at our holiday dinners.;)
I received this book from Cedar Fort in exchange for my honest review.
