This week's Top Ten meme has to do with the top ten childhood favorites that I would like to reread. This one should be fairly easy, since I have already been thinking about what books I hope to read with my daughter.;)
1. An Old Fashioned Girl

2. Chronicles of Narnia

3. Eight Cousins

4. Rose in Bloom

5. The American Girl books
6. Little Women
7. Little House on the Prairie (the whole series)

8. The Witch of Blackbird Pond

9. All of A Kind Family

10.
This list is a fun place to get ideas!
Nice list Amanda. I included The Witch of Blackbird Pond and the Little House books in my Top 10 list as well.

They are such great books! And yet, I don't think I have touched the Little House books since I was in grade school....

Hi, Amanda!
ReplyDeleteI had not heard of `An Old-Fashioned Girl` or `Rose in Bloom.
Louisa May Alcott is a wonderful author!
Thanks for stopping by!
I really need to do my TTT post for today. xoxo
I think those are every bit as good as Little Women! All of her stories that I have read have been wonderful. I need to reread some...
DeleteI look forward to seeing your list!
I finally posted mine :)
DeleteI will be sure to check it out then!
DeleteI love Little Women and what a great selection of books to read to your daughter!
ReplyDeleteThanks! If you love Little Women, then I highly recommend the other titles I mentioned by Louisa May Alcott.;)
DeleteGreat list! I still need to read Little Women! Oh my goodness! I never read the American Girl books but I've always wanted the dolls! I loved Chronicles of Narnia! I still have to finish them.
ReplyDeleteYou do need to read Little Women! It's such a good book. Of course, I highly recommend the other books I mentioned by Alcott too.;)
DeleteWhich of the Chronicles of Narnia are you on? I do so adore those books.;)
Someday, you will have to read the Amercian Girl books.;)
I just realized that I forgot the American Girl series! I read the Samantha books to pieces.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing this great list.
Amanda
I think the Molly books were my favorite, though I adored them all.;) Samantha was another of my very favorites.
DeleteI don't think I've ever read 5, 8, or 9 (although I did read a few American Girl books), but the rest of them I've read. :) Thank you for stopping by my blog!
ReplyDeleteWell, if you get the chance, then I highly recommend them!.;) I can't wait to re-read them with my daughter.
DeleteThanks for taking the time to come by!
