My thoughts: This book starts out somewhat lighthearted, with Indi and Philip meeting in the cutest way, on the day she gets dumped by her former fiancé, leading to some funny mix-ups when he comes to her rescue. The serious notes of the story blew me away, since both Philip and Indi are working through some things that most of us can relate to. I loved when Maggie tells Indi that it's okay to not feel okay after her heart is broken. I think I needed to hear that after going through my miscarriage a few months ago. I also really loved when Indi talks about her fears "I'm scared I'm losing my faith. Because, every time I ask God to fix my broken heart and He says no, it's harder to ask the next time. Harder to trust He cares".
This is an amazing story that I needed. I can't recommend it enough!
