My thoughts: I can only imagine what it would be like to be in Anna's shoes, on the run after fleeing an abusive husband and the suspicion that she had something to do with his death. The story deals with some heavy topics that might be a trigger for some, but I thought that the author did a fantastic job of handling the difficult subject of abuse.
I love the characters and how they came together in an unexpected way, deciding to marry in name only for the protection and benefit of working together. I enjoyed how their relationship blossoms throughout the story.
