My thoughts: I loved reading this story of an old, antebellum home that Everley inherits, along with instructions on how to go about restoring it. Having restored an older home (though, we did much of it ourselves), I could relate to some of the struggles that Everley runs into. I loved the overarching theme of restoration, as well as the spiritual message of the story. This is a wonderful story to pick up, filled with rich descriptions and delightful characters. I highly recommend picking it up!
