My thoughts: I was a bit surprised just how much I loved this story! It is a heartwarming tale of a foster kid who has to make a way for herself after being accused of arson. I like how is then skips forward to the present day, when Hadley is trying to rise above her rough start in life. I really liked that there is a side story with her friend, Elliot, and that this book encourages readers to love unconditionally.
