It took Lauren and her husband ten years to achieve their dream-reaching primitive tribes in remote regions of Nepal. But while Sam treks into the Himalayans for weeks at a time, finding passion and purpose in his work with the needy, Lauren and Ryan stay behind, their daily reality more taxing than inspiring. For them, what started as a calling begins to feel like the family's undoing...
My thoughts: Poignant and sad, this book is a must read! While the book is about a missionary family and what it is like to be a MK (missionary kid), the themes are ones that a lot of us can relate to. This book is just wonderful! I look forward to reading more by Michelle!
I received this book from Litfuse in exchange for my honest review.
