Take Ten: Childhood Characters I would love to revisit as adults
This week, we get to re-visit childhood favorites and tell about the characters we would love to catch up with in a novella or novel.
1. Ella, Henny, Sarah, Charlotte, and Gertie
This was one of my very favorite series when I was a young reader! I need to re-read them to make sure they are still amazing.;) It would be fun to have more stories about the girls after they grew up. They would each need their own story.;)
2. Madeline
3. Eloise
4. Fancy Nancy
This one would be more for my daughter, who loves "fancy fancy'.;) I think it could be a cute story though!
5. Molly
6. Kit Tyler
Another book that I need to re-read, since I remember adoring it the first time around! It would be fun to see where Kit wound up after ten years or so.
7. Nancy Drew
Okay, I will admit to devouring quite a few Nancy Drew. A story about her as an adult/30ish year old could be hard to do, since she has been around so long.;)
8. Susan
While she wasn't my favorite of the children, it would be interesting to see how her story turned out.
9. Ramona
I may look at Ramona differently now that I have a daughter of my own...;)
10. Meliara

WHY DIDN'T I REMEMBER ELOISE!? She'd be an amazing childhood character to revisit! :)
ReplyDeleteIt would be interesting to see what sort of an adult she became.;)
DeleteI have the Pevansie siblings on my list, too. I wish I knew them all. They are like my friends.
ReplyDeleteMy TTT Children characters I'd like to meet as adults
They are like good friends!
DeleteI'm not familiar with many of these characters. I would love to check in with the kids from The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe though!
ReplyDeleteI'm kind of surprised that I haven't come across something written about them.;) Perhaps if I looked, though I might be disappointed.:)
DeleteAw, poor Susan :( I hope she made a good life for herself!! Ramona and Madeline would be nice to check in with too.
ReplyDeleteI know. I would of loved to see how the other children grew up, especially Lucy.:(
DeleteMolly is awesome! I picked my fave American Girl, Felicity, this week! Happy Tuesday! :D
ReplyDeleteI had a hard time picking a favorite, since I honestly like all the ones I grew up with quite well. There was something about Molly's pluck though.;)
DeleteI haven't read any from your list, except for Crown Duel, and I totally wish that we could have more on Meliara as well :)
ReplyDeleteMy TTT.
I need to try some of the authors other books, since I really enjoyed that duo!
