Always on My Mind by Susan May Warren
In the 4th book about the Christiansen clan, Casper Christiansen returns home to Deep Haven after a failed dig in Honduras. Thinking he can fix the problems and relationships he ran away from 6 months before.
But, when he returns home, things are quite a bit different from when he left. As he struggles to settle into a normal routine and just be a friend to Raina, Casper learns some important life lessons.
My thoughts: I've enjoyed the previous books in this series, so when this one came up to review, I figured I would try it. I wasn't sure that I would enjoy it as much as the others, due to some of the weird twists. I have to say, the author handled the story remarkably. I fell in love with the characters and found myself rooting for them! I love the spiritual themes in this story. It's a wonderful addition to the series, and I highly recommend it!
I received this book from Tyndale in exchange for my honest review.

This release date crept up on me. I have an ARC copy, but just started reading it since I was expecting it to arrive in Feb. Guess it came out early. ;)
ReplyDeleteSo glad you liked it, Amanda.
It does seem like the release date for this one is coming up fast! That is probably at least partially due to the fact that it comes out so soon after the holidays.
DeleteI hope you enjoy the story too!
