1. Code Name Verity bu Elizabeth Wein
I looked at this one, and tried to start it, but found the beginning a bit hard to get into. So, if you have read this one and loved it, I would love to hear your thoughts on it and why I should try again.;)
2. Eagle of the Ninth by Rosemary Sutcliff
This is one that has been recommended to me time and again. I think I even own it. But, I have yet to pick it up...
3. The King of Attolia by Megan Whalen Turner
I have read the first two, and liked them, but still haven't finished the series. I keep hearing that I need to though.;) It just seems like the books can be a tad hard to get into, though they are totally worth it once you do get into it, since there are so many twists and turns in the plot!
4. Insurgent by Veronica Roth
5. Allegiant by Veronica Roth
I probably should pick this series up, at some point. It's hard, I've heard spoilers!
6. Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas
I really need to read this one, at some point.;)
7. A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'
I don't know how I missed this one when I was a kid!
8. The Giver and sequels by Lois Lowry
I actually really want to read this one, before I see the movie. It looks like a fun story!
9. Cinder by Marissa Meyer
I actually have this one from the library to read.;)
10. Firefly Lane by Kristen Hannah
Code Name Verity is AMazing. I swear!
ReplyDeleteI just need to stick with it then...
ReplyDeleteMost of these are new to me.
ReplyDeleteI have heard of `The Count of Monte Cristo` and most recently `The Giver`
I can imagine that The Giver is getting more attention now that there is a movie coming out.;) And, I guess the last book just came out a couple of years ago.
ReplyDeleteI love A Wrinkle In Time and The Giver! I'm not sure about the sequels to the Giver, though. It works so well on it's own, and the other books came out quite a bit later than The Giver, so I'm scared that they'll feel tacked on or something. Thanks for stopping by my TTT earlier!
ReplyDeleteNicole @ Reading Books With Coffee
I really need to take the time to read both... I have A Wrinkle in Time by my bed...
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by!
