A Season of Change

When Jacob Miller's little girl is hit by a car, his family's short vacation to Pinecraft is drawn out until she can recover enough to travel back home to their Amish community in Ohio. But, after losing so much when his young wife and youngest died, it is a small price to pay.
When Rebecca's stat in the hospital puts her family in contact with Natalie, who has just found out her mother hid Amish roots, the family finds out that God has a plan to work things out for His good.
I thought that this novel did a good job of handling both Natalie and Jacob's questions about faith and how their Englischer and Amish worlds collided. I look forward to the next book in the series and hope that it will mean a return of many of the characters that were in this one!
