My thoughts: Poor Adele! She had my sympathy from the beginning, with her bad luck with the Sheriff and constantly having run ins with the law due to little laws that hadn't been re-enforced for some time. Being a single mom of twins trying to make a go of an auction house can't be easy, so she had my sympathy for the trouble she runs into.

This was a sweet, unique story. The characters are well written and there are some delightful scenes in the story. I would recommend reading the series in order, though this book can be enjoyed as a stand alone. It's just fun to have the big picture.
