My thoughts: This book starts fast paced, and doesn't let up until you read the final page! While I didn't read the first two books in the series (something I plan to remedy!), I was able to jump right in to this story and fully appreciate it. I'm sure there was some of the finer details I missed, from Range's heartbreak, that were covered in the previous stories, but readers can start here and enjoy the story.
I loved how this story is about two different worlds and cultures colliding. Kasra is an amazingly strong heroine, especially after all she has gone through. 

While this book deals with the difficult subject of human trafficking, Ronie Kendig handles the gritty subjects well. 

This is a wonderful, hard to put down story. I highly recommend picking it up!
