My thoughts: How does Katie Powner pack so much emotion into one story? I felt the pain and loss of Mitch and Bea as they deal with losing Grandma June slowly, the mixed emotions of expecting your first child through Bea, the grief of losing a parent, and struggling to make a go of things after a setback with work. I loved the characters! The yare written in such a way that many of them become friends over the course of the story. This is a richly written story that spans 3 generations. I highly recommend picking up a copy!
