Take ten: Thanksgiving

This week is a freebie for the top ten bookish meme over at That Artsy Reader Girl, so I am going with the top books read in 2018 that I am thankful for.

1. Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus

This book challenged me on so many different levels, since I had never had to think outside the box with apologetics. I highly recommend this one for whatever walk of life you are on, since it was well done and incredibly readable.

2. Becoming MomStrong

We read this book in my women's study group and it was just what I needed, but didn't realize I did. Heidi is the perfect, encouraging mentor that reminds moms that they are doing an import job. I needed the encouragement.

3. An Hour Unspent

Love this series so much! There is a depth to the story that is just amazing.

4. A Defense of Honor

Another incredible historical fiction! I thought the premise was interesting, a home for illegitimate children during the Regency period. I can't wait for the next book to come out!

5. All Made Up

I'm not into reality tv series, but this story of a bachelor type show totally sucked me in!

6. Good News for Little Hearts series

This series has been excellent for sparking conversations with my children!

7. The Gift I can Give

I loved the precious message of this book for my children, since sometimes it is hard to remember to remind them of the gift they are. I love that this book helps me remind them of that truth.

8. Called to Protect

I love this Blue Bloods style family!

9. The Reckoning of Gossamer Pond

Be warned, Jaime's books are super creepy, but they are incredible! I love the moral issues and dual story lines.

10. Mind Games

Another super creepy story, but so fascinating, since the main character is a FBI profiler who has a serial killer come after her.

What books would be on your list?
