Take ten: books I would mash together

This is kind of a fun and unique topic, since I get to pick some of my favorite books and mash them together.;) Here goes! Per usual, if you are interesting in learning more about the book, then click the image to go to Amazon. This post contains affiliate links.

1. Fawkes and The Giftsnatcher

I know these aren't set in the same time period, but elements from both would make an epic story!

2. Blue Justice and Defenders of Justice

Both about law enforcement. I really love the element of all the main characters in Blue Justice being family.

3. The Story Peddler and It Started with Goodbye

I like the idea of taking a good, solid fantasy series and adding some hints of fairy tales in there.

4. Havencross and The Ladies of Ivy Cottage

Two of my most favorite Regency inspired stories.

5. Engaged in Trouble and Close to You

Honestly, these two are very different, but would be a lot of fun with the bookish settings of Kara's books with Jenny's humor!

6. Count the Monkeys and Hippos Go Berserk

These books are both slightly zany and a whole lot of fun!

7. Open Very Carefully and 123 Verses ABC

8. The Day the Crayons Quit and It Came in the Mail

Both of these have to do with mail.;)

9. Let Me Finish and Children Make Terrible Pets

The titles seem to go together anyway.;)

10. This Book Just Ate My Dog and I Will Not Eat You

Another fun set of titles.;)

What books are on your lists? I feel like I could of kept going with this one!

  1. Fun list! Despite my thinking this topic sounded epic (aka fun), I struggled with it. Still, anytime we can talk books is a good day. :D

Glad to spy favorites Jenny B. Jones, and Kara Isaac on your list. Also, someday I need to get in on the Fawkes fandom.

    1. I will have to go and look at your list now.;) It was both hard and easy. Some of the books I wanted to put together had some issues with being from different historical eras....
You do need to make the time for Fawkes! I think you will enjoy it.;)

  2. I like your children's book ideas. Children's books are already often silly; why not make them sillier by jumbling them up?
