Persuasion is my favourite Jane Austen nov...+JMJ+ <br /><br /><i>Persuasion</i> is my favourite Jane Austen novel, too. =) But a couple of years ago, when I reread it, I had that awful experience of not having it live up to the first time!!! That had never happened to me before; normally, old favourites are "sure things" for me! But I may be changing because . . . <i>Jane Eyre</i> is my most beloved novel ever, but something similar happened recently, when I tried rereading my favourite scenes from it. =( Now I think that I have to be in a certain <i>mood</i> before I can crack open the classics that I love.
